BOSU/Disc

A great way to both work on strengthening the core muscles that wrap around your waist and support your spine and improve your balance and coordination is with a new workout tool called a BOSU which stands for "both sides up." On one side it is a half of a balance ball on the other side it is a flat surface.

This is a great tool that allows you to complete a variety of different workouts. Inflatable discs or foam pads are another type of workout tool to exercise your nervous system and improve your balance and coordination. This is a great way to reduce your risk of injury as you age. Many age-related injuries are due to falls because of poor balance and coordination.

Testimonials

Reviews By Our Satisfied Patients

  • "Dr. Sheena Joseph is an extremely personal and knowledgeable professional who takes the time to get to know her clients and deliver the long term care they need. Dr. Sheena not only treats her patients for pain relief but she also sets up an entire care plan that allows her patients to maintain their health long after they leave her office. I highly recommend Dr. Sheena."

  • "Started going again after a car accident. The whole staff was friendly and helpful. When my daughter started coming, Dr. Sheena was able to work on her quickly and keep her calm. She loves going there. I need to make an appointment for my son."
